Terms of Use

Effective August 1, 2026. By using First Response, you agree to these terms and any written agreement between Ironhand and your organization.

Authorized use

Use the service only for lawful, authorized preparedness and safety operations. Do not attempt cross-tenant access, impersonate responders, trigger false alarms, tamper with QR codes or audit records, probe private networks, upload malicious content, or interfere with delivery channels.

Customer responsibilities

Workspace owners must maintain accurate property assignments, responder roles, emergency content, contact consent, retention settings, integrations, and current offline materials. They must review alerts before taking authoritative action and train users on fallback procedures.

No substitute for emergency services

The service does not replace 911 or other local emergency services, official seismic or weather authorities, fire alarms, evacuation leadership, or legally required safety systems. Internet, browser push, email, third-party feeds, and power can fail or be delayed. Never represent delivery as guaranteed.

Accounts and security

Keep credentials and recovery codes confidential, use multifactor authentication for privileged access, promptly revoke lost devices and API keys, and report suspected compromise. Access may be suspended to protect tenants, people, or the platform.

Billing and third parties

Paid features use the plan, currency, interval, tax, cancellation, and refund terms shown at checkout or in a signed order. Third-party services have their own terms and availability. A payment is effective only after server reconciliation and provider confirmation.

Availability and changes

Maintenance, security response, external outages, or emergency conditions may limit service. Features may change with notice appropriate to risk. Material legal changes will be dated here.
