Privacy Notice

Effective August 1, 2026. This notice describes the First Response emergency-preparedness platform operated by Ironhand.

Data we process

Depending on the features an organization enables, the service can process account and organization records; property and floor-plan data; responder personnel, qualifications, contact information, visitors, incidents, evidence, accessibility assistance needs, equipment, training, communications and delivery records, integration credentials, billing records, device subscriptions, and security audit events.

Why we process it

We process data to provide authorized emergency-preparedness and operational workflows, secure accounts and tenant boundaries, deliver requested communications, maintain billing, diagnose failures, meet legal obligations, and protect people and systems. Organizations control the operational records they submit and are responsible for providing required notices and lawful instructions.

Sharing and subprocessors

Configured features may send limited data to hosting and database providers, SMTP/email providers, browser push services, PayPal, mapping services, OpenAI, Open-Meteo, USGS, and organization-configured webhooks. A feature is not treated as verified merely because credentials are present.

Retention and security

Operational records follow the customer’s configured policy and applicable law. Short-lived authentication tokens and expired sessions are cleaned automatically. Security audit and billing records may be retained longer for fraud, legal, and accountability purposes. Sensitive integration secrets are encrypted; passwords and one-time tokens are hashed. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

Contact the organization that manages your First Response workspace to request access, correction, export, restriction, or deletion. For platform privacy requests, contact privacy@ironhand.org. We may need to verify identity and preserve records subject to legal hold or safety obligations.

Emergency limitation

First Response is a coordination aid, not an emergency dispatch service or guaranteed early-warning channel. Follow on-site alarms, trained incident commanders, and local emergency services.
